What about your jaw (made up of the mandible and maxilla). I wonder how muscles and tendons work together to make my mouth open and close? Are levers involved? I think it might be a class 3 lever....how can I check?

the simple machine which mainly helps us to move our body is levers and i think the simple machines which make up the human body are levers as they help us move and might be nothing else . i think the effort is in the middle which is produced by the muscles and tendons and the fulcrum is at the back of our jaw and the load is in the front as we chew anything with our jaw and i thing probably it is a class three lever as the effort is in the middle

What simple machines make up the human body? Of the 6 different simple machines you've reviewed in class, which ones help you move? How? for sure some class one levers are used in your bodies.they are used for your legs and arms. for the lever , the load is your foot for the leg. on the arm the hand is the load. the fulcrum is your joint on your leg or arm. yout muscles apply the effort to the lever. a lever is also used on other parts of your body like our jaw. the fulcrum is in the back of the mouth. i think it still be in the middle, so it is a class 1 lever. your teeth arre also example of wedges. they wedge them self into the food you chew. this means they can cut like a regular wooden wedge. your nails are incline planes because a incline plane is a flat surface. your nails fit that description. our bones are sort of screws. they all fit together like a screw fits into wood.

What simple machines make up the human body? Of the 6 different simple machines you've reviewed in class, which ones help you move? How? One simple machine in your body is a lever the type of lever is the Class 1 lever, it is a class 1 lever because for a class one lever the pivit is in the middle, ex. scissors. We have a class one lever for our legs and arms because for the arms we have the elbows which is the pivit point and for the legs we have the knees that are the pivit points. Another one is that I think that we have a Class 3 lever because a class 3 lever is something you swing is a class 3 lever and we swing our arms and legs when we swing our arms to hit a baseball or swing our legs when trying to kick the soccer ball. And the last simple machine that we have in our bodies is the wedge. The wedge in our bodies is the teeth, a wedge is like a knife and knifes are usually sharp and can easily cut things when using them, our teeth are like knifes because your teeth aren't that sharp but they can easily cut things because they're one of the strongest bones in our body.

Mr. Dobbie can I hand in a) tomorrow on the dot paper. A simple machine is a machine used to simplify life. There are six simple machines. One important one is the lever. The lever can be found in your body as well. I know the lever is a class one lever. The definition of class 1 lever is the fulcrum is in the center of the lever. That is exactly what the leg is. The fulcrum is kneecap or also known as the patella. The patella does all the movement in the in the leg which let's it bend. What is the mechanical advantage of my leg or lever. I weigh around 110 to 117 pounds. and my leg is 100cm long which is 1 meter. 115/100cm=1.15. This means my legs mechanical advantage is 1.15 which is higher than 1 so it offers some advantage. But i have two legs so multiply by 2. 115lb/100cm*2=1.15*2=2.15. The new mechanical advantage is 2.30. This supports my body a lot more than just one leg. Exp of class one lever. Arm, scissors, pliers, see-saw etc... They all have fulcrums in the center of the lever. I would like to be marked on rubric #4

What simple machines make up the human body? Of the 6 different simple machines you've reviewed in class, which ones help you move? How? 1st simple machine that makes up our human body is the arm. Which is a lever system. The fulcrum will be the joint arm(elbow)orleg(knee), the effort arm will be the arm and the load will be the arm or it can be the leg on either way it's a class 3 lever system. A 2nd simple machine is a leg which is also a class 3 leevr system which i explain the begining about it. A 3rd simple machine will is the jaw.The jaw is a 2nd class lever system because the load is right in the middle.I would like to be marked on rubric 4 please. Also some of the simple machines we use are tweezers, scissors, knife, even a pencil.
