Pond water vs Tap water

Why is tap water clear and pond water is not?  What makes pond water so colourful?  How do humans remove all the colour?  Why do humans remove all the colour from pond water before we drink it?.....Did you ever drink water from a pond?  Why or why not?

Pond water is green it's a mixture of pur water and other substances. For example, those other substances can be dead plants, fish pee/poo, animal pee/poo etc.Humans filter the pond water before drinking because some of the substances could contain some very harmful bacteria.

Pond water is green because it's a mixture of pure water with other substances. Humans remove all color from the pond because sometimes the substance can be dangerous. I never drank water from a pond because when I looked at the pond and the color wasn't like fresh water

Because pond water has a lot of dirty bacteria, and tap water has clean minerals added to it. So, the tap water is safe for the humans. The pond water has a lot of shades that the sun hits the water and it makes refelction to the pond water. Because if you don't remove all the bad minerals in the water, we can die, or get poisioned because of the animals like ducks poop in the water. I never drank out of the pond because I know that there are a lot of bacteria in them that may or may not harm you.

The tap water is clean because it's pure water and it's safe to drink for us humans. Pond water is also not clean because it had bacteria, it also can harm our insides. It's colourful beacause it's mixture of pure water. I never drank out of the pond because the animals take a bath in that same water if we drank that, and we already have the clean water in our homes.

Tap water is clear because it goes through the cleaning process. Pond water looks kind of green because animals live in it, which means all of there waste goes in it. People sometimes throw their waste in it. Pond water is a mixture of pure water and other substances, which can be harmful if you drink it. In order to make tap water drinkable, people clean it and remove harmful substance, making it possible to drink the water.

Tap water is clear and pond water is not because pond water can give dissolved substances water colour, taste, or smell. So some substances can be helpful but some can be dangerous for our human body. Dissolved substances can make pond water colourful. Humans remove all the colour by filltiration. Humans remove all the colour from the pond water before we drink it because it is dangerous for our body and it can effect our health so they filltirate it first. No, i did'nt drink water from a pond because it can be dangerous for me but my dad drank it once and he got a really bad tummy ache. So never drink pond water,
only drink water that is pure and clean.

Tap water is clear because it has no colour , tast and smell. Pond water looks green because it has a certain kind of taste or smell that is why it is green, and I never drink pond water in my life because it is mixed with pure waterand other substances which makes pond water so dirty.

tap water is clean because it is taken from bodies of fresh water and purified, but pond is not clean other substances have been mixed and dissolved in it.also when i was five i drank some pond water because i was thirsty.i think pond water could be cleaned too though. i want to be marked with rubric 1.

Pond water is different colours because various types of substances are mixed in it giving it a colour, smell and taste (maybe the reflections from the trees aswell). Tap water is clear because it goes through a cleaning process called filtration. That's why tap water is clean. People do this so that nothing harmful goes inside their bodies, they make it safe for humans to drink. I have never drank pond water, it looks nasty to drink.

pond water has a diffrent colour,smell,and taste because the water is not filltered and it has chemicals that tap water doesnt have. also sometimes the water may be polluted which adds the chemicals to react as a diffrent taste,smell and colour. tap water in this case is much diffrent the water is actually filltered to retrieve clean water. also tap water has no taste,colour,or smell because it is purified.

I'd like to be marked with rubric 5 for this blog. I say tap water is cleaner because the water is sea water, but it is thoroughly filtered before people are to drink it. Pond water can be clean like tap water, but it isnt filtered and different organisms and substances dissolve into it and pollute it. The substances dissolved into the pond water give it a colored appearance because the color of the substance dissolved makes the pond water that color. Humans can remove the color of the water by using certain technology that filters it, much like tap water in order for us to drink it or use it. I remember a long while ago, I didnt drink it, but, I used it on myself to clean my face. In my home country, Guyana, filters are very expensive, and pond and sea water are mainly used to clean if you dont have a filter.

I think pond water has a different colour than tap water because pond water is mixed with different substances or minerals. Also when a plant's colour faids away in water which causes it to mix in pond water to give a certain colour. Sometimes when an animal dies in pond for example a frog, it's natural colour will faid away in the water which also gives it a different colour.

Tap water is clear because it is pure. Pond water is not clear because it is not pure. It is a mixture of pure water and other substances. We remove the colour from the pond water bescause it may or may not be harmful to ourselves. I have never drank water from a pond because I know that it can be harmful and not clear.

The reason tap water is clean and pond water is not, is because the tap water comes out of the tap, and there is stuff in the pond, like bugs, and algae. The water changes colours, because of the bugs, and algae. Tap water, has some minerals that make the water cleaner, and able to drink. We remove all the colour from it, before we drink it, because, we can't drink water straight from the pond, because it will make you sick, and people will not want to frink it, because it will not taste the same. No, I have not drank from a pond, because I think that it is nasty, because it is not as clean as the water I drink at home, and also because, pond water is a bit green, and tap water is clear.

The reason that tap water is so clean and pond water is not is because the tap water is a pure substance but the pond water has many different chemicals inside of it which makes it look different, smell and taste different than tap water. Pond water has alot of bacteria in it which wont make it clean to drink. We remove all of the colour from the pond water by using filteration tools this way we will be able to drink clean fresh water without it having all of the bacteria and what not in it. We remove all of the colour from the pond water because in order for us to drink it it'll have to be clean otherwise we would be driking water which has bacteria in it, and it won't be heatlthy for us to drink. No I have never drank from the pond water because I think it will taste discusting thinking bout what has been in there and how much bacteria and algae there is roaming around in the pond water.

Pond water is not clean because its a mixure between different algea had other creatues and its also a mixture between other chemicals. Tap water in ot dirty and dark because it has been filtered and all the harmfull bacteria have been removed so i only drink water that is pure and clean from the tap.

Pond water is not that safe to drink tap water is. Tap water is better because the colour comes from plants fungi and other things that grow under the water it my be dangerous and the plants that cause the couler the couler could be dangeroue by the substenses.

Tap water is clean, and pond water is not. Tap water is cleaner than pond water because the tap water has things added to it like sulfate to make the water cleaner and also safer to drink. Pond water has colour because of the stuff that is found in the pond water such as algae. Algae makes the pond colour sort of greenish. Other things like soil or mud from the grass can fall into the pond also giving the pond its brownish colour. I think humans are removing all of the bacteria from the pond water before we drink it which also takes out the colour so it looks like the humans are only taking out the colour of the pond water. I have never drank water from a pond because I am scared something might be in the pond water that can make me really sick.

Tap water is clear and pond water is not because pond water has dissolved subtances in it that may make the pond water look, taste and/or smell different. Humans can not drink pond water because of these dissolved substances. We filter the water and that may be why the tap water does not have the same coulor taste and/or smell as the pond water

The difference between pond water and tap water is that pond water is contaminated. Pond water gets it's colour from different substances mixed with it. Tap water is clear because it is fresh water.It has been cleansed with technology or it's natural fresh water. Pond water may cause people to be sick because of the bacteria and unknown substances. Humans remove the colour from pond water from cleansing it(technology). We have to clean pond water because it may have dirt, bad bacteria and other unhealthy dirty stuff. I have never drank from pond water, but if i did, i bet i'll be sick. So i'll have to say, tap water is clearly better. I would like to be marked rubric 4.

Pond water is colorful because of the moss and animals inside of it, such as fish. Humans remove all the color in ponds by filtering it. Humans remove all the color in ponds before drinking it because it has bacteria in it and all the things in the water that make it colorful are harmful and dangerous.
Personally, I have never drank water from a pond before. This is because of all the germs in the water. Also, if you have clean water to drink, then why drink dirty pond water!?
Therefore, Tap water is cleaner than pond water.

Tap water is clear and pond water is not because pond water as algae,plankton, bacteria,etc, which tend to make the water colourful. Humans remove the colour of the pond water by filtering it. They do that because pond water has all that bacteria, plankton, algae, and so many more things which we might not know of or so many things that we might not be able to see. I have never drank water from a pond because it looks disgusting and it has chemicals that are harmful. Also I don't like being sick. This is why tap water is cleaner than pond water.

It also has things like garbage in it and it’s most likely polluted also because tap water is filtered. The water is colourful because of the things inside of it and the reflection of the sun also the algae, plants and animals. Humans remove the colour by the water treatment process. The take the water, add chemicals, then it is filtered and they clean it and disinfect it and then store it and send it into our homes. Then we drink it and bath with it and what not. No I haven’t drank from a pond because its not clean and its polluted and full of garbage.

Tap water is cleaner n' safer than pond water because tap water has been cleaned and purified by other people in canada but pond water is like same type as salt water not clean but with pond water it has nature's subsances dissolved into it making it unsafe. Pond water is colourful because of the different substances dissolved into it making it green. Humans like us clean the water by the water treatment process. They take the water, n' add chemicals into it, then they filter it then they clean it and disinfect it, then store it and send it to stores or put it into the tap water flow. I never use to drink from the pond but i use to wash my face with it in india when i was like 9 years old (long time ago) i didnt use to drink it because it was green and it seemed dirty (i didnt knew substances were mixed in it) and i didnt drink it.

Pond water has a change in colour because they are many different substances in the water making it take the colour of the substances. For example algae are green so the water may take the colour green. Tap water is clear because they clean and flush out all the substances creating colour. Humans remove the colour from the pond because sometimes the substance can be dangerous. They purify the water using filters and chemicals. I drank pond water because I was choking and couldn’t breath.
